Our trip...was a huge hit!!

Lisa, (trip to Mayan Riviera, Mexico)
Travel consultant: Shelley Moore,

Just wanted to say that our trip to Occidental Xcaret, Riviera Maya was a HUGE hit!! We loved every moment of it!!

The resort was clean, food was good and we felt very safe moving around the resort.

Our kids did a dolphin swim next door at Xcaret Park and that was very easy to get to.

We spent most of our time on the beach at our resort and between the turquoise clear warm water and the snorkelling, we did not want to leave!

Thank you again for booking our adventure, we are already thinking of where we want to go next year.

Thanks for all your help and advice

Scott, (trip to Riu Palace Bavaro)
Travel consultant: Heather Hines,

We had a great trip.  The resort was absolutely beautiful, and the staff was wonderful. There seemed to be some confusion when we arrived in terms of the type and location of room we were to have but it got resolved quickly and we had a great room located on the first floor looking toward the centre of the resort. The food was also good. Better at the specialty restaurants than the buffets.

We went on the 'Caribbean Pirates snorkeling/swim with stingrays and sharks' excursion and it was great.  You can do the same activities without the pirate experience, but the kids loved the pirates and the pirate ship. A good value for a family for only an additional $25 total.

Thanks again for all your help and advice.

We couldn’t have asked for better!

Helen and Wayne, (trip to Australia)
Travel consultant: Heather Hines,

We were quite pleased with the trip Heather, though as expected the getting there and getting back were quite challenging. The flights were good and we'd fly Cathay Pacific anytime, though the crew on the last flight home wasn't up to the first three. The trip down took us about 34 hours to get to Adelaide, including the drive to Toronto.

The Kangaroo Island excursion was one of the highlights for us. It was the most 'natural' of all of our excursions. We had a great guide (Gary, who has lived on the island his whole life) took us on an 'off the beaten path' showing us more of what he liked about the island. The aboriginal exhibit at the Museum of South Australia in Adelaide was another highlight, and it was free!

The other Australian excursions were all good. Often there was an hour or two of driving from the hotel just to get to the 'objective' of the excursion but the benefit was that we got to see more of the country rather than the cities, which is what we were after. The other highlight was the Sydney Opera House, which we toured. A marvel of engineering and an interesting story as well.

The hotels were good, very well situated and quite comfortable. The weather in Australia was perfect - no rain, mostly sunny, just a little too toasty on a couple of days.

The cruise was quite enjoyable as well. The ship was in top shape, having the balcony was great, service was very good, food was good though it was a little too plentiful for us and we had the best stateroom steward ever. Weather was pretty much perfect with only a few showers in the Sounds and some sprinkles around Dunedin. We couldn't have asked for better. The excursion to see the Royal Albatross Centre outside Dunedin was a highlight as was the Hobitton excursion and Maori ceremonial event.

We don't think we could pull this trip off again, but all the planning paid off for us this time. Thanks for all your help and input. I consulted the itinerary you provided us with, pretty much every day in preparation for the next day(s) and it proved invaluable. The Goway itinerary was also quite helpful and well organized.

Thanks again.
